This purse is made by skilled women Artisans from Afghanistan. It has beautiful geometric flower patterns made with traditional Afghan counted satin stitch on one side while the other side is black. If you like handcrafted products you'll appreciate the skill that has been used to make this product! The value of timeless embroidery only increases as times go by. The purse is lined with satin and fastens with a magnetic clasp.

About the Artisans
Artisan Links is a social enterprise, member of World Fair Trade Organisation, empowering and uplifting Afghan women artisans. The cooperative was previously known by the name "Zardozi" mening golden embroidery. Through their beautiful fair trade, ethically handmade products/gifts they offer thousands of Afghan women in East-Afghanistan and Pakistan the opportunity to earn stable income though their emboidery skills. This enables the women to pay for medical aid and educate their children.

Afghan women are real champions in embroidering! You can proudly wear this flower pattern purse made by women in rural Bamiyan District in Afghanistan. The from side of the bad has been embroidered on handmade woollen fabric, backside is same colour cotton fabric. The bag is with soft lining and fits easily a mini-Ipad or e-reader.
The strap can be adjusted and removed. Bag closes with a zipper.
